The Kangaroo Pouch: A story about surrogacy for young children is the leading children’s book worldwide, for explaining the idea of being a surrogate for another family.

- It was originally hand-drawn with stick figures in 2004 by the author and used to explain to her own children (4 and 8 at the time) that she was going to be a surrogate for their aunt and uncle (gave birth to twins).
